The bond between a mother and child is very different from that of a dad. It is more different types of love. Not how much they would love.

Mothers and fathers have different bonds to there children. They both love the kid in different ways. One doesnt love more then the other.

Do not quantify both types of love. Both are equally important for your growth. If you get same type of love from both then you have to avoid one as it is unnecessary. Father’s love is important for you as it teaches you to stand firm in life and mother’s love is important for the growth of your relational values. Both are equally important for the growth of your personality traits.
