Crystal W: How can I persuade my mom to let me get scene hair in a respectful way?
My mom is kind of strict when it comes to my hair, I’ve always wanted scene hair but I don’t consider myself scene or any of that. What can I say to my mom so that she can let me cut it that way?
If you must know, im 15.
Oh haha and no I don’t want it crazy or anything. Lol. Just layered and barely any teasing.

do something unique and dont be
conformist.pick a hairstyle that suits
you and not other peoples opinions..

Hey – I had the same problem! I just told my mum it was my hair so I should be able to cut it however I want. Tell her that you won’t get it too crazy etc. In the end I didn’t get a mullet, but got bangs and layers that looked scene but were a little less extreme. I hope this helps! XD

Tell her its your individual style, that it will make you happy, and that you respect her, but can’t she respect that its your hair and that you should be able to do what you want with it.

Well if you get the most non crazy looking hairstyle it should be fine!
just ask for lots of layers,and to get the ends thinned out if you like that thin look ( make sure they are longer layers rather than short unless you want short ones on top of your hair to poof up but i would stick with long for the time being so it doesn’t look too crazy ).
