What is a cheap good camera for photography?

: Need a good camera for photography that is cheap?
I am 14 and I have really been getting into photography! Sadly, the camera I use, it’s actually my parents, is broken(it still works you just have to reset all the settings when you turn it on each time, and the memory goes away) and its not really for photography. I don’t know anything about cameras, and I need to find a cheap one maybe at Walmart? I want a digital camera, and I would prefer it to take videos 🙂 Thanks!

Darn u want digital… I love film if you are interested in film try the Diana Mini. You can find it at lomography.com it’s a film camera….. But as for digital… Try a basic nikon they are great

Define cheap, tell us what you shoot now. Sounds to me like your current camera needs a new backup battery

If you think photography is something you want to do, then you should try to get a SLR or DSLR.
The Canon EOS 550D or Canon EOS 500D are very good.

They may be a little expensive, but they are very very good.
Plus they film in HD. Very good HD actually.

Well if you want to take it to the next level you really have to invest some money on DSLRS. Canon and Nikon is the best brand out there. If want to go with canon buy a T3,T3i,T2i,T1i and for nikon D90,D3100,D5100,D5000,D7000. Also remember Lenses are more important than the cameras in photography so make yourself a favor and get a good lens. A cheap and excellent lens will be a 50mm 1.8 or a 35mm 1.8 canon or nikon is going to give you very nice colors, nice bokeh(background separation), great low light capabilities and also is going to help you get better with you composition. Btw a good shop for cameras is and if you can find a good deal on refurbished cameras or used just go for it your going to save a lot of money.

If you want a cheap digital camera, then you’ll want a compact (point and shoot) camera. Try Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Nikon, Fuji, Pentax, Ricoh, Olympus, Samsung, Kodak, Polaroid, Casio, etc.
