: Does the film need to be full in order to get a disposable camera developed?
I have two disposable cameras and I need the pictures developed asap. However, neither camera is full and I don’t want to waste the film by taking random pictures, but also don’t want to get blank pictures back if i get them developed early.
Is there any way to just get what i have developed and then save the rest of the film?
Its a rite aid disposable camera.
Thank you!

You can’t save the film for later because the entire roll has to be developed at the same time.
The film can be developed without being full.
Answer by bruvvamoffYou cannot save the film you do not use.
Go out and fill the film up!
Surely there must be something out there you want to photograph. Is the world that boring?Answer by deep blue2
No. You either take the cameras in now & accept you will get blank frames, or you finish the film by taking extra exposures.
If the camera were a 35mm SLR or compact, it would be possible (in complete darkness) to remove the film, cut it & re-thread the film onto the take up spool, and pack the exposed film into a suitable container for development later, but a disposable camera is broken open to develop the film and cannot be resealed (the clue is in the name).
Answer by steven mThe whole film spool is developed together
Anything unused. you don’t get back
It is best – the film is fully used to avoid any accidents in the lab ( or fully wound/rewound)
But it shouldn’t matter
These things are opened in complete darkness
Then placed in a developing tank or an automated machine
The whole reel is developed
What does or does not get printed depends on the photolab you use.
