lucky stripE: What is the best photography book for someone who is already very educated in the field of photography?
My sister is a wedding photographer and is very good at what she does. I thought it would be cool to giver her a very advanced book of digital photography, but they all seem like they’re for beginners. Anyone have an idea on what book to give her? I mean some top notch stuff!

I really enjoyed Joe McNally’s recent books. He writes in a very casual style. She would probably like “The Hot Shoe Diaries” better, as it is all about lighting and that’s important for a wedding photographer. You can find it on Amazon and other sites.
I would suggest Digital Wedding Photography by Glen Johnson… it is an excellent book that not only talks about advanced techniques but also talks about the business, post digital processing, travel photography etc…
