Four Season R: Can a virus steal things from your computer if you unplug the computer?
If you unplug your computer (turn it off) can viruses steal info from from your computer and hijack it?
I know it’ll stay on my computer until I erase it, but will it be able to continue to steal information when my computer is completely unplugged? I want to know if someone can use the virus to get my information while my computer is completely off.

Yes… because computers work without power…
Not unplugged, no, there’s no juice, so nothing can move inside the pc.Answer by TempoOne
No.
An unplugged computer is useful only as an expensive doorstop.
Actually all you have to do is disconnect from the internet (and your local network if you are on one).
“Things” can’t be stolen if the have no escape route.
