Actress/Author2Be: How do I write a romantic kissing scene?
I LOVE writing, but I always find my kissing scenes dull. How do I write a romanric kissing scene that captures the reader?

I could answer this in one word
DETAILS.
You should know that as a writer by now. The only way to set up a scene like that to really capture the reader is to make them feel like they are there ….be as detailed as possible….start off with the environment, then work your way from there

but make your’s unique… i don’t know the story so i can’t be much help, but just use good describtive words… and describe even the little things..

Describe all the senses.
How does he smell and taste? Are her eyes shut? How does it feel?
Make sure you tell how the character feels emotionally too to keep it from being shallow.
Describe it as your characters would feel it… His warm breath against her cheek… Her hand in his hair… His lips pressed close to hers… His hand on her hip, steadying her.
If its their first kiss, they should be a little nervous, so maybe a peck then nervous laughing and then a longer smooch.
