I have looked online for a cool design for a friendship bracelet, and all I found were flat designs. I was more interested in a round design. I also had trouble finding pictures of the different designs, and I would like to know what the final product should look like. Can anyone help?

You could make one using foil. then tape it, for It not to fall apart. then you could tape constrution paper around it. Then right something if you want on it.

Here’s how you make a round, rather than flat bracelet.

Start off with several strands of floss about, at least 8 – 10, and knot them at one end leaving a tail of about 3 inches. I’d cut the strands about 24″ long so you’re sure to have enough to work with and then tie off.

Pull one strand (six threads) from the group and start wrapping it and knotting it around the other strands. Make 6 knots or so, then switch to another color. Make another 6 knots, and switch to a third color.

As you make the knots, they will spiral around the tube shape of the bracelet.

You can alternate the colors as often as you like, etc. and vary the pattern.

When the bracelet is the correct length, tie all the strands into a single knot. Use the excess then to tie the bracelet onto your friend.

We used to make friendship bracelets all the time when I was a teenager – with embroidery floss – is this what you are looking to do? If you have say 6 colors, you would tie the double knot on each individual string in a row to make a flat bracelet but if you want to make it round, first of all, I suggest using 2 strings of each color to give it a little more thickness, but you want to tie the knot with each string (or 2 strings) around the ENTIRE group of strings. This will make the bracelet round and you can alternate the colors in whatever pattern you choose.

get 8 colorful string but make sure that its the same tall and take 2 on side of hand and 2 and 2 and 2 and 2 divide them i mean,then start to do it as a braides

You could take some pieces of string 7-11 depending on how thick you want it. Leave about an inch and a half of string at the top and tie a knot. Take a piece of string and wrap it around and around the other strands. kepp going until your happy w/ the lenght and tie another knot.
