123: Why do Islam people believe having fun is consider a sin?
Why do Islam people think Just because you have fun it is a bad thing? For example, many of us have electronic device such as, Mp3 player, Radio, Television, CD Player, etc. We often use it to have some entertainment. Islam people think those entertainment device is consider a sin. We Christians wear clothes that Islamic people are not aloud to wear. Especially women there are considers slaves.

1.) Muslim do not believe having fun is a sin.
2.) Music to some Muslims is believed to be haram (forbidden)
3.) Christians wear long skirts and modest clothing and perhaps maybe the only difference would be that the western long skirt have big slits to show the legs but Muslims do not show the body in this manner. There may be close perfectly suitable for Christians and Muslims alike.
4.) There are no Muslim women as slaves.

what is ur definition of ‘fun’?if it adultery,gambling,getting intoxicated,raping someone etc then it would amount to a ‘sin’ in Islam.by merely listening to radio, watching television is not a sin unless if u watch pornography or if u use CD player to hit other people head.. LOL..with regard to women-slaves issue, i admit that some muslims did treat their women like hell so does people from other religions including christianity but Islam never teaches muslim to disrespect women..u should be able to distinguish between Islam n Muslim..n it does not mean that everything muslims do are based on Islam similarly in christianity u cannot say that when Bill clinton (a christian) committed adultery, he did so bcoz of christianity or the Bible said so.

Having fun is not un-Islamic at all. Islam is less interested in the “type” of fun activity, but very interested in the content of it. For example, it is not the music that is the problem, but what you put into the music. A song that does not has clean language and does not evoke sentiments of what islam consider sinful (e.g., adultery, intoxication, lying, etc) is not problematic from an Islamic moral standard. However, one that contains such stuff will clearly be un-Islamic. From that point of view Islamic way of looking at fun would not be very different from that of many old-fashioned parents. Also, another guiding principle is that the indulgence in any activity should never be such that it causes the person to neglect his/her responsibilities to family, society, and God. So in other words, it is not about music or picture or movies, but what they contain and how they impact you as a useful person in the society.

For example, television or the Internet, CD palyer. Many of the things that are less well according to Islam. porn site, or the clothes of the celebrities that are less polite in islam

Since Islam teaches followers to maintain views, hearing, and the behavior of the things that are pornographic.

I am a Muslim .. does not mean I do not use rage these items. I admit I use them. I also have a CD containing verses of the Quran.

i no alot of muslims that have electronic devices like tat including my self and i watch tv, movies, i pod

its not islam ppl its muslim ppl

and muslims have a dress code
for the women its to wear something that doesnt show the figure of her body , everthing is covered except the hands and the face. the cloths she is wearing can not be c through , its not tight, its not like out there.

If your so bored why don’t you go look up the truth of Islam?? And having fun is not a sin, it just has its limits you don’t cross the line. BTW Muslim women are not slaves!! And are modest, don’t you go say stuff YOU don’t know….
