Epicnesss: Who are some important people in Judaism?
I need to do a project on Judaism and I need to know who important people are, what dates or periods of time are important, what the Jewish believe, who wrote the Torah, and what special worship practices they do. So if you are Jewish please help! Thank you very much!

Some of the most important people in Judaism are Abraham and Moses. Some important dates are the Egyptian enslavement, the Babylonian captivity, the Holocaust, as well as the creation of Israel in the late 1940s. The Torah is the Old Testament, and it was written by Moses, the major Prophets, the minor Prophets, King David, King Solomon, and some unknown or very minor authors. As for specific rituals and beliefs, I don’t want to say anything because I’m not really familiar with modern Jewish practices. Besides, there are different sects of Judaism and they each have unique views and traditions. You can’t just say Jewish people; you have to differentiate.
