How is the influence of Judaism manifested in the practice of Islam? Where are there differences?

The major difference is that Judaism comes from the Torah, given to Moses by God, IN THE PRESENCE OF THREE MILLION OTHER PEOPLE. Those 3,000,000 were real men and women, some of whom were named, and whose descendants heard FROM THE NAMED PEOPLE exactly the same story. They ALL said, “We heard God speak…”
Islam is based on the claim of ONE MAN (Mohammad) that an angel of God had spoken to him (Mohammad). You can believe him or not. But if you don’t, then Muslims have three options for dealing with you: convert you, tax you, or kill you.
Since Mohammad was illiterate, he misremembered some of what God told Moses, and to cover his errors (and there are many errors in the Koran), he (ingeniously) claimed Moses got things wrong.
Yeah, RIGHT.
Judaism, true Christianity as opposed to the practiced now are messages of Allah.
Some of common practices with Judaism is not eating pig meat, circumcision, believe in unseen God.

Answer by Aristocrat IIGod addressed Moses (Deuteronomy 18:18): “I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee(Moses), and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.”
1.Brethren of Israelites (descendants of Abraham through Isaac) are Ishmaelities (descendants of Abraham through Ishmael). Jesus is here excluded as he is an Israelite; otherwise it should be written “a Prophet from among yourselves.”
2.Is Muhammad not like unto Moses? If not accepted, this promise has yet to be unfulfilled.
3 “put my words in his mouth.” So God’s revelation came through Gabreil, and Prophet Muhammad’s own thinking was not involved. But this applied to all Divine revelation .Perhaps here mentioned specifically because compared with the revelation to Moses which came in “written tablets” as believed.
Deuteronomy 18:19: “And it shall come to pass that whosoever will not Hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”
In the Holy Quran, 113 out of 114 chapters (surah) start with “In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.” Also, in their daily work the Muslims start with this saying. In the name of Allah ( Muslims don’t use the word god, but they use the personal name of god, which is Allah, “in my name”.As it is a personal name, it is not subject to gender like God or Goddess, or to plurality like God or Gods. Christians start with “In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit”).
Revelation to Muhammad: The 1st revelation of Allah through the angel Gabriel to Muhammad was the word (Iqra) “read” in Surah 96:1-5: As he was unlettered he replied “I cannot read”. This 1st revelation was prophesized in Isaiah 29:12 “And the book is delivered to him that is not learned saying, Read this, I pray thee, and he saith ,I am not learned.” These revelation came in installments, and inserted in certain order in the Quran as ordained by Allah, was also mentions in Isaiah 28:10-11 “For precept must be upon precept , precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little ,there a little, for with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to his people.”Another tongue means another language, not Hebrew or Aramaic, but Arabic. Muslims all over the world are using one language, which is Arabic,in calling their God, in their prayers, pilgrimage and in their greetings to each other. Also this unity of language had been prophesied in Zephaniah 3:9: “For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve Him with one consent.”Alas the truth has come in Arabic.Answer by lifting the fog
