Tony W: Which religions have their people fighting in wars or somehow participate in war?
Wars involve death, blood shed, patriotism, and hate among other things which Jesus himself did not approve of. Many many religions have followers involved in war or the military for that matter. What religions allow that and which don’t? I know many “christians” who are in the military and many churches say “God bless our troops” in their masses, yet the pope is always asking for peace. This is just a question that I have, I would like to know more about this matter, thank you all so much for answering with truthful answers.

Jehovah’s witnesses don’t go to war. we show respect for the government we live under but we will not kill for it. the early Christians refused military service and converts resigned from it.
