jane m: Where do I find a good home for a loving jack russell female dog in Oklahoma?
Penny, is a female, inside dog. She is 6 or 7 years old, shots up to date, spayed,heartgard, free of ticks and fleas. She is a devoted, loving dog, that has never been around children. Penny is also a great mouser! She is free to a good home! Needs to be in a single dog family.

I got all three of my dogs, one of them a jack russel who i love very much, from the ASPCA Shelters.

I would recommend dropping her off there and chances are she will find a loving home

I’d put just what you wrote here in a local paper, people are always looking for small dogs.

Contact a local (or as close as possible) rescue group and see if they will assist you in placing her in a good home

If she is already house broken….alot of older people who have lost a loved one would love to have a mature dog……Check with some of your grandparents friends and family!!

First of all I would not give her away for free. Trust me on this I have placed dogs into good homes for over 25 years, and I have found that if you give a dog away free you will have to rerescue it. Go to your local shelter and ASK them for a number for the Jack russell rescue in the area, and call them to see if they will take her and find her a good home. You could also call the A.S.P.C.A. and find out if they can place her or help you place her. Good Luck.
