Happily Married for Life: When in pregnancy do you breasts usually fill in and start producing early milk and colostrum?
Hi! I was just wondering when I should expect my breasts to leak and produce colostrum? I’m 24 weeks pregnant and my breasts are only slightly bigger than they were before. What do you guys think?

That can vary. I started leaking colostrum at 12 weeks. You are the best judge of what’s going on with your body.
They usually don’t start producing until week 36 or so, it depends on the person, and after your milk comes in (a couple days after you give birth) your breasts will really increase in size. Make sure you get a big enough nursing bra!Answer by Anyone
I started leaking really early like 20 weeks. Which is weird because I’m flat chested and haven’t grown at all.Answer by A_McShay
I was 15 weeks, I leaked throughout my whole pregnancy after that! I started producing and leaking milk around 34 weeks.Answer by Lanora
Hello,
Depending on whether this is your first pregnancy or second and so on. makes a difference. However every woman, and every pregnancy is different.
Usually with the first child, somewhere around 20-30 weeks at the most. however if this is not your first pregnancy, it can be as early as 12-16 weeks.
Good luck with everything,
Sincerely,
Lanora
