LOL! It started the beginning of November this year (We’d prefer beginning of Dec.) and lasts until about the end of the first week of January.

Traditionally the holiday season starts on Thanksgiving and ends Jan 2nd but stores start putting out Christmas stuff before Halloween even ends.
