jackhabit: What’s the best way to study for an important exam?
I have a national board exam coming up in 2 months and feel overwhelmed. I have 12 text books, 100s of flash cards and many subjects. This is for the Massage therapy national board exam. I know repetition is good and no distractions. I can not afford a tutor. So if there are any other suggestions to help me study I would greatly appreciate it.

This is probably a bad suggestion but, I find it best to “study” when I take a look at it the last second, as it stays in your mind still fresh.
You could also study it normally, just look at it and memorize it, that’s basically what studying is. To be sure of yourself, you could also do what I do, just as a reminder, not as a studying technique.
Answer by katreenhere are some tips
hope it works.
1.you have to concentrate just on your lesson .
2.do not think to another thing except you lesson.
3 .get you mind free for new topic.
4.try to Imagin if the lesson is imaginable for Better memorizing
hear r some tips
5.read it (text) once before like a newspaper then read it with more care.
Read the text, take notes if it is complicated.explain what u understood to yourself.if it was not complete read again with more care and again explain it…keep this till you have already done it.in this way you are putting it in your own words and really have to understand it.you also can try Studying with other people and talk about what you are reading but it is somehow waisting time. Answer any questions at the end of the chapters., don’t be afraid to ask your teachers for help if you are confused
Read the chapter once. Go through again and write down the important info on an index card. Use the index cards as your study material. Do other index cards like a test. Put on one side the question and the other side the answer. Use those to study also.
and also having concentrate in class when the teacher is teaching it .is a very good point of getting best results since if u understand what is been teaching in class in first time it relay helps ..
another thing:you have to and must practice..practicing magics..
i myself relay believe this..
and….having self confidence…without any stress at exam..because it has a bad effect on u and ur mind goes blank in this way..so try to be relax..
also find your mistakes and solve them do not post Phone your math practice for later ..and try more and more to do them at the same day that that it has been teached.
n get a useful complete book for ur lesson..n a good teacher/..human can do any thing he wants ..if he cant its him/her problem nt others..so u can ..n do it
with all these tips u’ll be able to improve ur learning and do well on tests..
be relax on a test…and have a proper sleep the night before..also..don’t study 2/3 hours remaining to ur test..cuz it wouldn’t help u at all but just reduces ur confidence
n for later exams i mean for ur next year or term i also recommend u this strategy
regularly reviewing lessons is the answer…whats the use of notes if they’re nt been reviewed?if u wanna get the best result you need to do them regularly..bt if u think its an easy sub so u cn Just review them before ur exam..or any time..it actually depends in ur own lesson .do if u think its is important or forgettable as i said:do it by special distances…in this order: after making ur notes or cards(for words write down each word in each card n its meaning in the back of that card)
n review:
1. first day of writing the notes
2.tomorrow of that day
3.a week after
4.a month later
5.4 months later
6.(is optional)6 month later
note that this distances are from the first day which u wrote those notes
not from the each day dat u review it
