I’m sure your teacher has passed on their expertise in predicting topics which ‘turn up’ in exams.
Topics which appear in maths exams aren’t randomly selected so you cant really use probability theory to answer this.
8/14 x 7/13 x 6/12 x 3 should give you an idea
Answer by cidyahProbability of getting a prepared question = 8/14=2/7
P(3 out of 8) = 8C3 (2/7)^3 (5/7)^5 = 8C3 (0.2857)^3 (0.7143)^5 = 0.24284
