Janiey J: What are your best tips for studying for final exams?
I have 1 whole week before I have two finals in college. Do you think this is enough time? What tips do you have for getting an A on both exams?

Relax.
College exams are actually easier than high school exams were…believe me.
Let me give you an interesting story. When I was a Sophomore in college, I took this difficult Honors Biological Science course and I started studying for it the night before the exam. I completed my study guide the night before and read all the required chapters the night before the exam. The next day, I woke up at 7:40 (the exam started at 8)…I hauled butt to the library across from my dorm and got a pencil (because I packed all my stuff and took it home the week before) and LUCKILY I saw my friend Paige at the library (me and her took that class together) and I hitched a ride with her. We made it to the auditorium and sat all the way at the top, the professor handed out the exams and it was a coloring book page of the human body. Our only instructions were to color in the lines to get credit.
Answer by JMC4RPYes you can make an A on both exams with a week. If you dont have any other obstacles in the way. First, you must make a rigid schedule for all the material that you need to cover.
Then, you must execute that schedule accordingly. You need to know how much you are tackling so you know how much time to alot to each. Try to keep distractions at a minimum (if you need to get something else done than studying, set a goal before doing that distracting thing so you know that your studying takes precedence.) Good luck to you! Make sure you get plenty of sleep, too because sleep will help you remember everything that you have learned. Relax, you can do it!Answer by C J
First, I agree with the first answer. You must relax. You can not change the past but can do great things in a week! I recommend that you create a review sheet for yourself. Then go over this sheet by testing yourself on key facts, definitions, concepts, etc. Prepare yourself for any essays you may have to write by reviewing key concepts of the course and thinking about what you may write about if these topics were to come up.
Every 30 minutes of study, take a 5 minute break. This has been proven to allow you to focus properly, retain more information and lengthen your study time.
Answer by James MIf you regularly attend class, this is a sufficient amount of time to study for two finals. I would split your time evenly across both exams on each day. Do not study three days straight for one test and three days for the other. Your brain will find it difficult to disseminate the information come test time.
I would also suggest taking a quick look at some of the studying methods found in this e-book. It will definitely help you out when cramming for finals. Here’s a link to the free e-book.
