Prokofiev: What would your sex life look like if there were no consequences?
This is a hypothetical exercise to see how sexually restrictive you find the world you live in. With the way you are now, what would be your ideal scenario or fantasy if all restrictions were taken off the way adults could conduct their sex lives with each other? Imagine a miracle world in which there could be no disease, no unhappiness, no unwanted pregnancies, no conventions or judgement, that whatever your sexual desires, fantasies, preferences or habits with other adults, they would be totally consequentless and there would always be willing people? Would you choose to conduct your sex life similar to the way you do now, would you choose monogamy, polygyny, polyandry, polyamory, free love sex, casual sex, celibacy etc? What sexual landscape would you create? Remember, there are no bad consequences.

I would probably have alot more random encounters ( one night stands) but I would think that I would still want to end up in a monogamous relationship
This question is too disgusting, dude. Take it to a bar.Answer by jack_black_91
Of coarse all of us have desires and fantasies but, in a world like that most would be very happy but, eventually left feeling empty. Sex is nice but, it is also served best with love. After living in this world for a while if it actually existed, would people still know what true love meant? A world like that would be fun for a while but, soon it could get very old. A world of lust without meaning. But, like you say if it was a world with no unhappiness or consequences I would think I was in heavin. I would pick atleast 10 of the best looking women from each & every race and all of them would be Bi. Needless to say my boys would be reduced to the size of raisens within the first night.Answer by Twilight
Oddly enough it would look almost exactly as it does now.
As none of my particular preferences are illegal, there are no issues to contend with on that score.
Unlike many posters to this forum, as an informed adult, I know how to use contraceptives to drastically reduce unwanted conception and minimise the risks of STDs which coincidentally are spread as much through “monogamous” cheaters as through sexual activity with more than one partner.
I lead a fairly passive polyamorous lifestyle, which for the last 4 years has been completely monogamous mostly due to the fact we live so far out in the sticks we are lucky to see another member of the same species most days (aside from each other).
You know what? There have been ups and downs, and mostly we and others we have had involvement with have benefited and learned from them. No STDs have been traded. No pregnancies wanted or otherwise have occured, lives have been enhanced and not ruined, and it doesn’t require a utopia either.
By and large sexually, I live the dream I want right now.
Thanks for a good question!

My tubes are tied, so the pregnancy thing is out. And to be frank, I’m happily married. Good thing, cuz I’m too lazy to cheat!
