FasilT: What would you feel, if your wife tells the negatives mostly your weakness to others?
Friends wife is keep on telling us how she is being treated by her husband. Most of the time she tells us (me and my wife) his bad sides including, bad words he is using in throughout their life together. I am fade up of the situation. Is it fair to talk anything negative about her husband to others?

I think that she should be able to vent. But she should be doing that with her “girlfriends” and there should be a point where she is able to stop and think of good things about him. You should ask your wife to have a one on one talk with her. Maybe she needs some girltime?

I would feel betrayed. A wife is supposed to support you, be behind you and build you up. She’s doing the exact opposite of what she should.

It would hurt me. She should tell her husband but maybe they don’t have good communication skills. However she may be “venting” and that also could be a good thing. I think I would just look at it as she was complaining but maybe it was helping her relieve stress.
