Destiny J: What types of dance is great for loosing weight?
Ok, Im 14 and I dont want to take weight loose pills or diet. Dancing helps a lot and my metabolism is weird; i can eat and loose weight, now, but that takes a while. I dont want to learn how to lap dance or poll dance. But what is a good type of dance that will help me flatten my belly and works on my arms and legs? and please no jersey shore jokes or saying lap dance and poll dancing.

ive heard that belly dancing is very good for your abs also salsa is a great full body workout or you could try hip hop dancing for a fun high energy cardio work out
I am 14 years old as well. I’ve been doing a type of dance called Zumba for about a 8 months. It’s a very fun, energetic way to get fit. I didn’t do it to lose weight, but instead to strengthen my heart and body. It’s a dance that is created for the purpose of fitness and feels like the salsa in a way. You can check to see if your area provides a class or they sell DVDs in select stores and online. Other than that, when you’re alone at home or something, just blast the music and dance like crazy! Aerobic activity (includes dance) will help you shed some weight from all over your body. Good luck! Remember, losing weight is more about food than anything! Cut out the junk!
