I have Cinema 4D version 10 on my computer. Everything about it works except for the camera controls (or stage controls, not really sure what to call them). Whenever I try to rotate, move, or zoom in, the view freaks out and everything disappears. (Or rather, it just zooms in way too far and I can’t back up out of it)

I’ve already tried reinstalling C4D once, but nothing changed. What can I do to fix this?

First off: are you using a graphic tablet? Usually they will make it go crazy as you have to set C4D up for a tablet in the preferences.

If you are not using one:
I don’t know WHY it freaks out, but I can tell you how you can get back to your normal view: Go to the View section at the top left of your 3D-Viewer and select “zoom to active object” (or something alike, I don’t know it by heart). Make sure you have the desired object selected beforehand.
