: How can I use photography as a good deed?
I am doing a project in school for doing goods for people and how you can use your skill to do it. And I am wondering how I can use photography as a good deed. Please help, I can’t think of anything.

Offer free family portraits.
Getting your photos taken professionally can be quite expensive, and to many families, having a memory of your family in a moment of perfection means a lot to them.
There is actually a charity group of photographers that do this already. I just can’t remember what it’s called…

Volunteer at your local shelter to photograph pets in need of homes.Answer by Chris
See if you can find a local community centre (maybe one that helps those with special needs) that might appreciate you taking some happy snaps of those less fortunate individuals that don’t have much to be happy about. Maybe somewhere in a local park is a nice setting.
Not everyone has the opportunity to feel good about themselves and your good deed could possibly brighten the day for a whole bunch of people.
Answer by Mommy of 2♥You could take pics of animals in shelters and create a FB page specifically for shelter animals and send it to all your friends and family and ask them to do the same:) You just might save an animals life and help someone find a new best friend:)Answer by thren0dy

There was a nationwide thing a few months back, where photography studios all over the country did photoshoots for free one day. It was for anyone who couldn’t afford a session, and it included MUA and prints afterwards, depending on studio. It was published through Facebook and Craigslist.
Go to any of the non-profits in your area, and offer photo services. Lots of orginizations need help like that.

There are scores of non-profit organizations in your city that do not have the funds to pay for photography. Offer your services as a volunteer.Answer by Tim Mack
Hi Tyler
You could take pictures and submit them to stock photo sites and donate the proceeds to whomever you choose, such as charities or people that have problems.
You may even find that this could be an interesting career for you.
Good luck with your project.
Tim
