Aloha: What to do about puppy not accepting older dogs discipline?
Well i adopted two puppy’s. My older dog is very upset that their there so he wants them no where near him so every time they come near him he growls. One of the puppy’s got it quick the other one doesn’t seem to care. She will get growled at and then growl back at my older dog which then is replied to with a dirty look. Im trying to figure out what to do before my dog gets upset and deals with her another way.

Well the puppy is obviously an alpha dog. It will learn it’s place eventually and might actually take command. It could be more of an alpha than the older dog and start bossing it around.

Well you have two options you let her find out the hard way or you step in when she doesn’t back off and separate them yourself.
