Karen White: What to do about family members trying to isolate a single person from the rest of the family?
I have a friend that have very close cousins and a sister that always talk really bad about her to other family members. It has gotten so bad that non of her family member associate with her any more. Why would anyone do this to a family member and how can I help her out?

It is possible that the things her cousins and sister say are believed and taken into consideration.
Is it possible that some of the things that the sister and cousins say are correct? She should call and try to talk to some of her family members. Tell her first that you will always be there for her, and that she should talk about this with some of the family members.
