Alex: What photo book creation websites do you recommend?
I am looking for a photo book designing website that is user-friendly (and therefore quick and efficient), has a good number of design and format options, is inexpensive, and does reliable, quality work.
Where have you gone to make your photo book? Did you like that program, or did you have difficulties with it? Have you heard friends say they liked a certain company?
Anything helps! Thanks!

Blurb is my favorite, KodakGallery the easiest.
yeh blurb is good, or i tend to use photobox, pretty easy and good variety of styles and layouts etcetcAnswer by Ara57
I have used Blurb and Mypublisher. Both were good product. I have heard good things about the Mpix books and plan to try them next. I have seen books from Shutterfly and Kodak, not as nice as the others mentioned, but decent and cost less.Answer by Steve

PhotoBooks{etc} uses award-winning and customer-approved software by Rocket Life. It’s very easy to use.
We also have a free photobook promo going on. You can get a free 20-page 5×7 personal softcover photo book free – you just pay $ 4.95 shipping.
Answer by melvernsunI make all of my pages at CropMom at , which is an online scrapbooking site that lets you purchase the print-quality JPEG files of your layouts. CropMom gives me lots of freedom in designing the pages, more so than the photo book sites do.
Then, I primarily use Snapfish at https://www.snapfish.com/snapfish/welcome or Shutterfly at https://www.shutterfly.com to create a photo book. Each layout from CropMom is a separate page in my photo books.
Generally, I get the 8″ by 8″ photo books. My favorite is the 8″ by 8″ hard cover photo book from Snapfish with the glossy dust jacket. I use a CropMom layout on the cover of the dust jacket. The hard cover itself is black linen, very class looking. I just LOVE these books and have purchased quite a few.
Shutterfly makes a nice padded cover book in 8″ by 8″ and I’ve been happy with that, as well, but I found it really difficult to get my layouts to fit the cover. The Shutterfly 8″ by 8″ hardcover books that print your layouts on the cover (not the padded kind, but the plain ones) remind me a little of a children’s book, so I’m not as fond of them. I have an 8″ by 8″ softcover book from Shutterfly, and it’s adorable.
I have bought two soft cover books from Kodak Gallery, and neither one were all that great, in my opinion.
I bought a cute 7″ by 7″ hard cover book with a glossy dust jacket from PhotoWorks. It’s cute and good quality, but a little small for my tastes.
I have numerous books, hardcover with linen covers and soft cover books from My Publisher. I’ve always been happy with the quality, but I prefer the square book size, and they don’t carry it (at least, the last time I checked, they didn’t have square books).
I’m considering getting one of those little 6″ by 6″ linen cover books from RitzPix and picking up at my local RitzPix store. However, the covers are plain, so that would mean I’d have to decorate it myself. Not sure if I want to bother with that.
I hope this helps.
