Answer by JessicaThese are some really good books that I’ve read and thoroughly enjoyed:
-the Bartimaeus trilogy by Jonathan Stroud (SOOO HILARIOUS!!!)*****
-the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Coffer*
-The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen(any book by her)
-Hawksong by Amelia At-water Rhodes
-The Shannara series by Terry Brooks*
-Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
-Watership Down by Richard Adams
-Great Expectations by Charles Dickens*
*’s are the ones I really REALLY recommend for anyone to read!!!
The adventure book that you would want would definately be The Shannara series by Terry Brooks.
My main suggestion, if you haven’t read it, would be The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. This book is very creative, has amazingly imaginative characters, and is filled with adventure. The adventure in The Hobbit is unending – it involves Bilbo, a hobbit, going on travels/adventures through many lands, in which he meets a multitude of unique characters. Also, if you do read The Hobbit, then I suggest you read The Lord of the Rings trilogy, because it is also filled with excellently unique and skillfully written adventures and travels of the main characters.
Perhaps you could also consider reading Don Quixote (you can read this in English). This novel is about a very unique man, who is entertainingly mentally unstable, and the adventures that he goes on. The main character (Don Quixote) was basically obsessed with reading books about chivalry, knights, etc., and his rather unusual adventures depict his obsession with such stories…
Best wishes!
