Corey D: What is a good book series for a seventh grader?
I really like action adventure books. I loved the warriors series and i like the Redwall series, but they just arent doing it for me. I need something that is an Accelerated REader book if you know what that is. So, i dont like future books or novels. I would rather a battle be fought with swords and arrows. So, what do you think?

Man, I was all ready to come here and go “WARRIORS! WARRIORS!” but yeah…why don’t you try Seekers, Erin Hunter wrote that. It’s pretty good (not as good as warriors, though.) Or how about Guardians of the Ga’hoole, it’s about owls and has action :3Answer by Flight of June
I read Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan when I was in sixth grade, and it was awesome! There’s so much suspense, action, adventure, fantasy, and well…suspense put into the series! There’s four books, if you’re wondering, and the fifth book is coming out on May 5th. I don’t know if the series is on AR, though, so that all just depends.Answer by Seven
I’ve got JUST the thing, if you don’t mind books that are fairly challenging.
Look up some of the historical fiction novels by GA Henty. The language is slightly archaic (they were written in the late 1800’s), but the writing is just plain good and the stories are always very exciting. I’d especially recommend “The Dragon and the Raven,” “In Freedom’s Cause,” and “A Knight of the White Cross: A Tale of the Siege of Rhodes.”
These books are addicting, and make you a history buff in the process. I know for sure that they’re in the AR program, because they’re the sole reason I won the contest at my school 3 years in a row. They’re on one of the highest levels and worth tons of points.
Edit: Here’s a link with a complete list of his books: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ga_henty
