In the far east, religions are usually melded together and the followers don’t care but here in the west everyone swears that the religions are so different and that we can’t get together…Why is this?

Far eastern people are not religious.

You have other concerns. Religion comes almost last.

Most eastern religions focus on peace of mind and happiness through simplicity… They also don’t usually involve moral codes that claim any other beliefs are evil, which is all too common in religions practiced in the west today…. This is why they are so obsessed with differentiating themselves… They have unneeded pride in their religious title, and look down on those who believe what they don’t
