What is the minimum age to go dancing at most nightclubs?

DWornock: What is the minimum age to go dancing at most nightclubs?
In popular establishments where people in their 20s, 30s, and maybe late teens go to dance, what is minimum age? I understand that usually a person must be 21 or older to buy alcoholic drinks.

However, does than mean those 18 to 21 are not allowed to enter and go dancing or is it that they are admitted but not allowed to be served alcoholic drinks? And, if not, where do most college students and those ages 18 through 20 go to party and dance?
