abergirl3: What good summer dance intensives are there this 2009 season?
My friend and I, possible more, want to go to a super good (not too hard) dance intensive/camp this summer.
We are 13-14 and we are just looking to have fun, learn some good dances, and just get stronger and better as a dancer.
We live in Florida, but other places would be acceptable as well (North Carolina, Georgia). Any good intensives you would recommend? Thanks! ๐
And not too long either. Like 1 week or less preferably! ๐
I dance everything, lyrical to jazz to ballet to tap.

There are many different summer programs you can attend for dance but you did not say what kind of dance you would like to do. The really good and intensive programs you have to audition for but most of these audition classes are done with so there are not many options. There are very few, I only know of 2 programs where you can go for just one week. I would look for dance schools in your state or area that you can attend a program for the amount of weeks you would like and audition for other summer programs next year.
The best solution is to get some advices from the dancers around you.Answer by lefty
I found this website where Louis can teach you to dance like the stars! You can learn how to Salsa, Tango, and a whole bunch of other dances. You can get a seven day free video dance course, so the website it definitely worth checking out. The dances are tailored to help you easily learn the steps and lose weight. Feel free to ask me about more information. ๐
