What is the fastest way to put weight on a pony?

MackMarinefamily: What is the fastest way to put weight on a pony?
Our pony did not come through the winter well and we have tried corn oil, better hay, she aways get good grain and plenty, her teeth were just floated, and she has been wormed in the last month. She is getting older 25+. Any suggestions on something to fatten her up?

we had a pony that age and we feed him beet pulp to keep his weight on. you buy pellets and soak them in water before you feed them. Also my mother has a horse that is 25+ and she feeds him a special grain called fat and fiber and hay stretch because he cant eat hay very well.

You can attach some dumbells to it ,or you can also just push down on its back, thats the fastest way as you are using your own weight.
