catchmeifucanc2002: How do I get my kitten to get along with my boyfriend?
My kitten who is 6 months old, doesn’t seem to like my boyfriend. How do I get him to understand that my boyfriend doesn’t want to hurt him or me? My kitten has been with me since is was just a few weeks old.
my boyfriend loves the cat, but everytime he comes around Tommy Boy runs and hides or trys to bite or scratch him. How do I get him to understand that my boyfriend doesn’t want to hurt him. I don’t think Tommy Boy likes men in general.

it might sense that your boyfriend doesn’t like it. stick with the cat, dump the boy. chances are that you’ll have the cat longer anyway.
A cat that young doesn’t get along with your boyfriend because your boyfriend doesn’t want to get along with it. He hates cats, ask him.Answer by theblackenedphoenix
He may calm down as he gets older or he may never like your boyfriend.
What’s the difference between a dog and cat?
A dog thinks you’re God because you give him food. A cat thinks it’s God because you give it food.

did your bf pick him up from the couch and put him down at the stairs? i know cats doesnt like it when you move him from his original place, i dunnoAnswer by Serinity4u2find
What I have learned is that it’s easier to train a boyfriend to like a cat than to train a cat to like a boyfriend.
Buy some special treats or catnip for your cat and have only him give them to your cat.
If you had to choose, you could get another boyfriend. A cat lives for up to 20 years, that’s a long relationship compared to a boyfriend.

Cats have a better perspective of human than a human does. Maybe he sences that the boyfriend doesnt like him or maybe that the boyfriend is not right for you. Or maybe the cat just wants you all to his self.Answer by oz_cat_downunder
If he isn’t neutered, get it done (the cat not your BF), your BF’s testosterone could be upsetting him (yes cats can smell it) Get some ribbon or feather wands or a fishing rod toy and have your BF use these to play with the cat. It sounds like it’s sexually generated aggression.
Get your BF to offer him treats. Other than that, leave the cat alone and it might come around when it’s ready, don’t try to force it, this will make it worse.
Answer by kool.girl181easy just let the kitten go near him tell him to pat it and there happy friendsAnswer by Linda C
Just tell your boyfriend to ignore the cat. Don’t make any advances towards it, don’t try to pet it — ignore it. It takes tiime for a kitten to get used to a human that isn’t his main care giver. So ask your boyfriend to be patient. If the cat won’t come it him — so what? It may later, when he’s had more experience. Cats will sometimes surprise you. I have one that cannot be ignored. He’ll hide around the corner when someone new comes in and then if we ignore the cat, later on it slowly comes into the room. Too curious to stay away.
This is going to sound odd, but if you rub something of yours on the boyfriend the cat may be more receptive. Maybe a towel you’ve used or your sweater.
Answer by kathyk214There is a very good reason your kitten is acting that way. Your bf may say he likes cats just to please you but as soon as you turn your back he may be kicking or hitting it. Trust your kitten and keep the kitten in another room when the bf is around. Better to be safe than sorry.
If your kitten comes up missing then it is a good sign he got rid of it for you.
Set up a camera so that you can know for sure, but this happens all the time and could be the problem.
