It is one really great way to teach children responsibility. They must learn to keep up with it’s feedings and cleanings

I have several pets at home, it is good for a child to have there own pet it will teach them responcability, some people have pets for companionship.

it teaches the kids about responsibilities mostly. i grew up with pets almost all my life. it teaches them to love animals and then that might stop animal abuse in the future. animal abuse has the possibility of leading up to domestic violence. by getting kids pets you might stop all those horrible things.

it teaches them responsibility. gives them something to talk to. and with some that don’t have long life spans-they even learn about death.
