AI: What is the equivalent initiation rite of Baptism in Judaism?
Hi, I need to write a speech on initiation in the Catholic Church compared to Judaism. What is the initiation ceremony in Judaism when entering the faith?

The closest you’ll get is a bar mitzvahs and a bat mitzvah. These are the two analogous ceremonies for “coming of age” in the Jewish tradition. It’s not identical to a baptism, but bar/bat mitzvahs recognize each gender entering adulthood w/in the Jewish faith.
