If there are 1.3 Billion Muslims in the world and only 10% or radicals that makes 130 Million radicals out there. What will Islam do to contain this problem?

Nothing more than condemn them ,which they do. If the minority commits a crime then it is a legal issue,not a religious one.

We should definitely stand against them in the true meaning of the word, condemning never did anything and never helped anyone, unfortunately 90% of the terrorists are nothing but brainwashed puppets controlled by a few masterminds who benefit from the whole thing.

The big problem is with the people who try to say every Muslim is a terrorist,those people are ignorant and only make the problem grow bigger and bigger..at the same time let’s not forget that the bad conditions that many Muslims live in and all the injustice against them in Iraq,Afghanistan and Palestine are the reason it is becoming so easy brainwash a young man into thinking that killing himself taking innocents with him in America,India or Iraq is the only way.

Palestine has nothing to do with radical Muslims, when Bin Ladin talks about Palestine know very well that he’s only exploiting the subject to justify terrorism in America or Europe for his own sake.

No Palestinian organization has ever threatened to attack any country in the world, even Hamas tries to gain America’s trust..Palestinians don’t want to attack any country in the world.

The Palestinian cause is a struggle by Palestinians,Muslims and Christians,to gain freedom and end the injustice, all Palestinians want is to have their very little land back and to form their very little country,to be able to raise their children where they don’t have to fear that any minute an incursion might take place and at any minute the house could fall on their heads.

I am asking this question myself very often. Why does the majority of Muslims let a “handfull” terrorists/fundamentalist give Islam a bad name by their actions. Why are there not big demonstrations in the Muslim world against Muslim terrorists like against a Muslim writer like Rushdie? After talking to many friend we came to the concusion that most Muslims are afraid of fundamentalists itself. We don’t know if we are right or wrong, but I do know persons who receive life threats because they said or wrote something against these fundamentalists’ believes.

Islam (the Religion) isn’t able to do anything. It’s up to educated Muslims to stand up and fight against people who damage Islam’s reputation.

You may please take into consideration certain circumstances Muslims live in (not used as an excuse at all). Look at Pakistan for example. A scholar makes a statement and these mostly illiterate people follow him like a cow the herd. Rushdie as example again. How many Muslims demonstrating against his books have acutally read it? Almost ZERO.

The above said refers to Muslims who are uneducated and can’t think for theirselves. Not to get mixed up with people who maybe have any political motives and try to open other people’s eyes. But that doesn’t have anything to do with Islam itself. These kind of “terrorists/freedom fighters” you’ll find being of all kind of Religions.
