foggy_moogle: What is the difference between precalculus algebra and college algebra?
I want a review of algebra before I start going into calculus. I’m trying to decide which order I should take my classes in. I think I want to take college algebra, then precalculus algebra, then precalculus, and then calculus 1; or would that be pointless and instead take college algebra, then precalculus, then calculus 1?

algebra…geometry…functions/ trig….pre-calc…..calc
in college they go over things more in depth so if you want to take calc in college….you HAVE you know the other things (listed above) well.

But you have to work hard.Answer by Edwin2009
Well looking at what your saying it depends on how comfortable you are with math. Meaning if you feel you need college algebra and pre cal go for it. I think you should take pre cal algebra then you should take a pre cal class with trigonmetry. This will give you the foundation necessary to succeed in Calculus 1 and higher maths.
