I have to choice between taking chemistry or physical science in high school. What is the big difference? Which one is harder?

Physical science is extremly broad in subject matter. Chemistry is specific. Chemistry is the study of matter (atoms, molecules, compounds) and rules that govern the interaction of matter. Chemistry differs from physics because chemistry usually involves the study of properties that are dependent on the type of matter being studied.
I hope this helps.
