: What’s the difference between physics and chemistry?
Okay, so obviously there is a difference, but what kind of differences are there? If you are bad at chem, is there a chance you will be better at physics, or are you doomed because they are similar

really good Q
historically we learned chemical facts and used physical theory to explain them
since the 1900s all chemistry can be understood if you know the physics of atoms
but the detail and complexity of chemistry mak it a sub specialty
If I could set the rules I would teachhigh school physics first , then chemistry , then biology
historically it as been the reverse
physics need math the most but they all need some
if you are lucky there will be an “ahah” moment in physics when chemistry you learned begins to make sense. or maybe not
Answer by VishalI found nice article here,
However both are different disciplines of study. There are some branches of chemistry which needs good knowledge of physics. But overall both the studies are completely different.
