A mentor wil not let the emotion of love overrule his mentoring skills.While we have heard people say that their spouses or romatic interests were their mentors, what they really meant was that they were role models. Mentoring consists of sensitively observing and conveying the truth to a protege/e about his or her performance, with the intention of improving the person.This is something that a lover may do but very often, this action will not be unbiased. A mentor is expected to give an unbiased view
