What is the difference between Basic Mathematics and Pre Algebra ?

california girl <3: What is the difference between Basic Mathematics and Pre Algebra ?
I want to take a math class over the summer, and I wanted to know if Basic Mathematics was the same as Pre Algebra or not. If it IS the same, then I wont take this class. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you !

Not, they’re not. Basic math is more like multiplication and division and introducing integers and Pre-algebra is more with evaluating expressions and more into depth with graphing and concepts

Shouldn’t Asians be in Calculus… How old are you?! And aren’t Basic Mathematics and Pre-Algebra for 6th and 7th graders…? Pre-Algebra is more advanced, but only slightly.
