dwarves: What is the dang difference between a troll and a spammer as relates to av?
Don’t give me the urban dictionary answer, I’ve read it.

Not being English from origin, I have no idea what “dang” and “av” would mean. However, the difference between a troll and a spammer is that a troll makes posts to annoy people (“Where is the Any key?”) or to pick fights (“Your mother is so fat…”) for example, whereas a spammer posts advertisements, either obvious ones (“Visit https://www…”) or more hidden ones (“You can find the answer at https://www…”).

Trolls are cheap low lifes on youtube,answers website and loads of fourm and a spammer is something or someone who keeps sending you emails or something else loads of times.

Both are desperate for attention, but they both want attention so they can “profit” in some way. Time is money; money is time. The spammer wants your money; the troll wants your time. And, in both cases, there is the added flavor of power over another person that both feel when successful in their pursuits.
