Mark B.: What is the Connections and Analysis between Hinduism and Judaism?
So my teacher gave us a worksheet and told me I could use any resource I wanted to find the answers. Sofar I have done well but I am stuck on this question. What does he mean when he says to find the connections and analysis between Hinduism and Judaism? Can anyone give an explanation of the two?

None–it’s bunk.
Jews were ISOLATED in Palestine, while Hindus were about 1500 miles east on the other side of the mountains that conquered Alexander’s army.
I don’t think they had any influence over each other. What do you think?
(Maybe you should tell your teacher to look at a damn map and explain to him that people WALKED back then when they wanted to go somewhere. India was about 6 months journey away minimum.)
Now what if your teacher had asked you to find the influences of LOCAL religions on Judaism–such as the worship of Baal and Asherah? Those are all over the Old Testament because the peoples who worshipped these deities were RIGHT NEXT DOOR for God’s sake!
Answer by Happily HappyNo nothing common is known among these two religion..
However, one point.. Hindus believe that long long ago a person called “Manu” saved humanity from great flood through a an ark.
which is synonymous to Ark of Noah.
