Honestly I don’t know of a place to download Microsoft Office except the Microsoft website, which you have already looked at.
But does the program have to be Microsoft Office? There is another program called Open Office that is almost exactly the same and it is free. It can save in all the same formats as Microsoft Office, too.
Just thought I’d toss the idea out there in case it might work as a substitute for you. =)

There is no cheaper site to download. You might find it cheaper at a Wal-Mart or a Target store, but it probably won’t be much cheaper if any. Microsoft still holds the purse strings tight on their pricing.
I would buy it at at store, because then you have the actual disk in case you need to repair it later on. $ 129.99 at https://www.amazon.com is about the cheapest I’ve seen it.
Answer by JasonYou can download the free Office 2010 trail version from the following link:
https://www.softpedia.com/get/Office-tools/Office-suites/Microsoft-Office.shtml
The trail version will expire 31st October – 2010. ๐
or if you are looking for something free and just as useful, you should try SSuite Office for a free office suite. ๐
No trials, no registering your personal information, no strings attached at all. Just free office software. ๐

Answer by jimgmacmvpThe cheapest price is for students at this URL (about $ 79 US). This is a Microsoft web site.

Amazon.com has a page that tracks the lowest prices being offered for Office products from a variety of vendors. Look at the lower-right of this page where prices are updated hourly:

If you are studying at UTA in a IT/IS field. Then you can buy any Microsoft products for only $ 5 USD. It is totally legit it is something Bill Gates setup with the University there several years ago. That is the cheapest you can get it at.
Another way is to buy it from another country and then you save money. Because of the exchange rate is different after you convert it over from that countries dollar (whatever they call their currency) to American dollars.
Or download as someone already suggested MS Office 2010 beta and save up for it. While you are using the beta version.
Check with a friend since many versions that you buy now is made to be used on 3 computers. See if you can get the Disc from a friend and if you get it for free great. If not offer to pay 1/3 since you are using only one license of it. These are just some suggestions either way it is up to you.
Remember to pick best answer, thanks!
