What is the best anatomy book for a beginner wanting to get a jump on studying?

Do it for Johnny! (Maddie): What is the best anatomy book for a beginner wanting to get a jump on studying?
I am a college student majoring in nursing and next semester I will be taking Anatomy and Physiology and Anatomy and Physiology Lab. I would like to get a jump on studying so that I am prepared. What book(s) would you recommend?

I recommend an Anatomy & Physiology coloring book. I bought one at my bookstore after completing the course, and it would have been very useful.

Another recommendation would be to buy your required textbooks early to look over before the class even begins.

Finally, use interactive websites to help get ready for all that you will need to know. In my class we dissected cats, and it was very helpful to look at the pictures online to reinforce what we learned in class.
