Catholic Corrector: How come the religions that subjugate women have become the most power in the world?
Like when the pagans ran things, they were powerful only because there was nobody else in the world but pagan.
Then when religions came along that made women obedient, they rose quicker through the ranks and surpassed the pagan religions in power and might.
Why is this?

@Micky taking things out of context and twisting facts and changing words is never nice. You don’t want people to know, you want them to hate , that’s why you’re lying in an elegant professional way…Or maybe you just copied from a hate website, which is understandable.
get your facts right, from an Islamic website, or even a …book! Oh my God they still make those??Answer by pǝʞɔıʍ ɥɔʇıʍ ™ ofthe West
Because they subjugated half the population and convinced the other half that it was a good thing to do too.
You have a bit of a skewed view of pre-Christian Pagans too, each group was regional and had their own beliefs and rituals, it’s easy for a large unified force to take over small regional cultures one at a time.Answer by Jellybean
Actually, the historical picture is somewhat different than your account. For probably thousands of years, women were the dominant figures in world religion. Then, less than 10,000 years ago, patriarchal societies began to replace the matriarchal ones, sometimes replacing them by force, sometimes a little more gently. ALL religions which gave emerged since that time have had dominant male figures. Even the Greek and Roman religions were male-dominated, although some of the myths give us hints about the era when female goddesses as chief deities were being replaced by male gods. Since that time, religions in which females predominate as deities have been strangled into oblivion for the most part, and women in the male-dominated religions were assigned inferior roles. There’s been quite a bit of research and study about the transitional period and some of the researchers’ conclusions are very telling about the shaping of our religious ideas. Patriarchy simply exerts more coercion, has posed a (flawed) rationale to support and perpetuate its dominance, and has continued unabated in its oppression of women. As we have become more sophisticated in our understanding of what it means to be human, there has been a gradual shift to allow women more freedom, a share of equality, and a recognition of their gifts to all of society. The message, however, is still resisted and rejected out of hand by retrograde thinking and retrograde religionists.Answer by an old Priestess
The Abrahamic religions follow a violent male war-god, and operate
on a system of domination and control… of which patriarchy is just
one part. Indeed most men (except those at the top) are as much
of a victim of this system as are the rest of us.
They rose to power through violence and other crooked dealings,
and have maintained that power through lies and propaganda and
by suppressing our true history. The values that these “religions”
(and I use the word loosely) instill in people are the main reason
that the world is in such trouble today…
