I think you have put this question in the wrong category…this is Royalty….and you an hardly discribe the Royals as independent…as in the UK the tax payer pay their bills.

Accommodation can vary, to live independently you need to be able to work or earn enough money to pay your rent or mortgage,feed yourself and pay your own bills….without financial support from other people
