Just off The Strip is the Gold Nugget Hotel that has the best restaurant with steak, lobster tails, and much more. It is a local’s favorite.
Location – west of Caesar’s Palace, west of freeway, across the street from Palms and Rio.
Answer by jack“Banananose” – Is talking about the Gold Coast, probably the Monterey Room since they have a very nice steak special, but she may be referring to the Cortez Room? the Golden Nugget is downtown. “B” that TD was not from me. I give only TD’s when someone is being obnoxious, not for an error or typo.
My Recommendations for the best “value” steakhouse
Pullman Grille – Main Street Station
Prime Rib Loft – Orleans
Range – Harrah’s
Billy Bob’s – Sam’s Town
Roberta’s – El Cortez

$ $ no option steakhouses
Delmonico – Venetian
Kokomo’s – Mirage
The Steak House – Circus Circus
Vic & Anthony’s – Golden Nugget
TJ’s Steakhouse – Las Vegas Hilton
My first choice would be the Pullman Grille at MSS. The restaurant itself was built around the fireplace from Preswick Castle – Scotland. The atmosphere, food, service and prices are all incredible. And, that’s just the beginning, they have much more, but I’m not going to ruin the surprise.
Delmonico would be my 2nd choice followed by The Steak House.
Italian
Bartolotta’s – Wynn
Canaletto – Venetian
Pavevino
Seafood
808 – Caesars
Aquaknox – Venetian
Emeril’s – MGM

Michael's – South Point – Has been selected as the best restaurant in all of LV many times. Michael's was at the Barbary Coast for many years until Harrah's took over. It is on the expensive side, no, make that on the very expensive side, but this is a dining experience you are likely never to forget.

If you happen to go downtown and find yourself hungry. The Triple 7 Restaurant & Brew Pub at Main Street Station has a complete prime rib dinner for $ 7, after 4pm.
Answer by fuckin ATaqueria Canonita is a great Mexican place at the Venetian. You can sit on a balcony right by the water and the gondolas and the food is delicious.
Trevi in Ceaser’s is also a great restaurant. Its right in the middle of the Forum Shops, so there are plenty of people to look at and interact with, a fun spot.
More pricey than the other two, Olives in the Bellagio is a fantastic restaraunt. You can request a table on the Balcony and watch the Bellagio water shows. The food is incredible, I recommend the butternut squash raviolis.
Buca di Beppos is off of the strip, (on Flamingo) and offers amazing Italian food. It is served family style and the atmosphere is very exciting. It’s always a fun time. The dessert canoles are delicious!
Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion (on Flamingo) has delicious Asian-Hawaiian food. This would be good if you wanted a more low-key dinner though, its quiet inside and it’s pretty pricey, the food is worth it though.
Hope these helped, have a fun birthday dinner! 🙂
Answer by NoSEOProI don’t know how much you want to spend so I’ll answer in 3 sections: high end, moderate, and cheap.
Steaks:
Craftsteak and Cut (tie for first) outstanding steaks and side dishes. They serve both wet aged and dry aged steaks. My girlfriend likes wet aged but I strongly prefer dry aged so these 2 get it right for everybody although she likes Del Frisco’s a tad better for wet aged.
The Steakhouse at Circus Circus is less expensive but surprisingly good given the madhouse environment that it is in. Steaks are dry aged over mesquite and include an okay salad and potato. Sides are definitely not great. If you are on a budget but want to semi-splurge this is your best bet.
Billy Bob’s at Sam’s Town is a little cheaper and you can split their monster steak. Wet aged but not bad. Also, Sam’s Town is easier for comps with a lower table minimum than any strip casino.
Seafood:
Bartolotta (Italian Seafood) and rm have very fresh fish and Bartolotta is particularly romantic. Go with the tomato sauce over their imported fish at Bartolotta.
McCormick and Schmick is a chain but actually very good. You will not notice a major drop off in quality from the much more expensive Bartolotta and rm and they usually have more variety too. Todd’s Unique is actually slightly better but is further away from the strip. It’s very good for wine.
For a lower price seafood experience, Hot N Juicy serves seafood in a bag. Although crawfish are very good here, you can also get good spicy shrimp. The problem is that it will be a major mess.
Italian:
B&B is my favorite but it is not a spaghetti and meatballs type of place–think more beef cheeks ravioli. If you prefer the heavier style Italian, Il Mulino will definitely not leave you wanting. I’ve found that bigger eaters seem to like Il Mulino and the picky birds don’t.
Nora’s is fun, sometimes noisy and very good more standard Italian. I like to take a large group over here because the total bill is not too bad and everybody usually likes the food a lot.
A slightly cheaper feast (Pizza) can be had at Settebello’s which has a really great crust. If you like pizzas for the toppings, order extra because they do skimp. Unfortuantely this might push this outside the budget range.
