Jay K: Tattoo Pictures and Tattoo Designs
I am looking to get my 1st tattoo and wanted some suggestions on a site where I can find some examples of tattoo photos or designs. I am looking to get a Christian Cross Tattoo and my girlfriend is looking to get a Butterfly Tattoo. Of course we don’t mind a paysite, but we would like to hear some suggestions and feedback from past users/members. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated!

The best site you can go on is…
www.deviantart.com
It has heaps of photos and designs. If you cant find a design there then your very picky. It is free to sign up to.

just find something that you like or something that closely looks like what you had in mind, ask the tattoo artist to draw it up according to what you had in mind using the picture that you found as a base, i always find that to be a good way to have an original tattoo that nobody else has, and plus it can have more meaning that way too.

The tattoo process is something that should be taken very seriously. As they say, THINK ABOUT THE INK as a tattoo is FOREVER. As a general rule of thumb, once I’ve identified the type of tattoo I want to get, I scour through the web looking for examples that best depicts what it is I’m looking for. A great site I have recently come upon is LiveNeedle.com – The site has essentially everything I’m looking for in way of a great tattoo. You can spend hours upon hours there for inspiration for your next piece of ink. So that’s my suggestion in way of an online resource.
Another option would be to meet with local artists and brainstorm ideas after taking a look at some portfolios. Ask friends as their referrals are priceless, and overall just do your homework. Understand the meaning behind the ink, the message you look to express, and the value it carries with you.
PS. Don’t get a tattoo while you’re drunk HAHA!
