ali_christin: What happens with your insurance if you get into two accidents and get an additional ticket?
I got into two accidents, both were rear-endings. The first one there was a claim against my insurance. The second there was not much damage so there was not an insurance claim but I received a ticket for both accidents. Then I also received a ticket for running a red light. Damn the luck! What will happen to my insurance, will they drop me, will my premium sky rocket? I only have liability.

You can pretty much bet on your rates going through the roof. This isn’t bad luck, it’s bad driving. Keep back from cars in front of you and don’t go through red lightsAnswer by overnightdeejay
you get dropped or your prems will go up… a lot…
you’d better switch back to riding a ten speed before you kill someone.
Answer by GabrielYes, expect to be dropped or to have MUCH higher insurance rates. I’m also going to echo another answerer, this doesn’t sound like it has much to do with luck.Answer by Johnny
There are alot of different factors that are going to play into what decision the insurance company makes. Some companies have a threshold for how many accidents they will allow their policy holders to have. If you only have liability they are likely to drop you because you are a riskier customer. If you are paying $ 100/ month and have already cost they $ 3000 or so then they will cut there loses and you might have to go into a risk pool. The best thing you can do is find a way that you can compare different rates and talk with someone that can help point you in the right direction. One of the better ones I have found is www.CompareMyInsuranceOnline.com, and they have good people that work as customer advocates. So take a look around and BE CAREFUL 🙂
